Terms of Service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Terms for using Spec-N-Glo’s contractor software, website, and authorized customer and Crew workflows.
1. Operator and scope
Spec-N-Glo is cloud-based software for professional lighting contractors, operated by Kentori LLC. Our public website is specnglo.com. Contact us at hello@kentori.net about these terms or your account.
These terms govern use of our website and software, including company workspaces and authorized customer and Crew access. Review them before using the service. If you use the service for a business, you must have authority to act for that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These software terms do not replace a contractor’s proposal, installation contract, warranty, or other agreement with a property owner. Kentori LLC does not perform the installation or become a party to that separate agreement merely by providing the software.
2. Accounts and responsibilities
You must have legal capacity to enter these terms, provide accurate account information, complete required verification, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not share another person’s identity or bypass email, phone, company, or role checks.
Company owners and administrators are responsible for inviting authorized users, selecting appropriate permissions, and removing access when it is no longer appropriate. Customer and Crew users may access only the records and tasks authorized for them. Do not use a shared link to access another recipient’s records.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully for legitimate design and business work. Do not upload content you have no right to use; infringe privacy or intellectual property; distribute malicious code; attempt to access another company’s records; evade access controls, usage limits, or payment requirements; misuse invitations or verification messages; or disrupt the service.
Do not resell unauthorized access, extract private information, or present an AI illustration as a verified site survey or completed installation. Ordinary use of authorized exports and crew packets for your own work is permitted.
4. Plans, billing and trials
Public subscription purchases and public trial enrollment are not open yet. The subscription terms below apply when paid enrollment is available and separately authorized. An invitation, trial, or visit to this website does not authorize a charge.
Plan features, included AI allowances, billing interval, and price are disclosed when selecting a plan. Planner is monthly only. Other listed plans offer monthly or annual billing. Separate credit purchases or add-ons are not included unless expressly stated. See the Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy for current approved base prices.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable monthly or annual billing interval unless canceled before renewal. Recurring charges must be disclosed and separately authorized before paid enrollment. Changes to future prices or material billing terms will be disclosed before they take effect; existing accepted customer contracts are not repriced by a subscription change.
The standard free trial is 14 days with 3 standard AI renders in total, not per day or per month. No credit card is required to start. Trial expiration does not automatically create a paid subscription. Verification and eligibility rules apply; repeated trials or artificial identities are not permitted. Paid features become restricted when a trial or paid entitlement ends.
Published promotions apply only under their stated eligibility rules. The planned 25% founding offer is not active while billing enrollment is disabled. Promotions do not stack, Planner is excluded, and unresolved annual promotional terms are not an offer to discount an annual purchase.
5. Cancellation and nonrefundable subscriptions
Spec-N-Glo subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscription payments are nonrefundable, except where required by applicable law.
Customers may cancel their subscriptions at any time. Cancellation prevents future subscription renewals but does not immediately terminate access.
Following cancellation, customers retain access to their paid subscription features until the end of their current paid billing period.
No refunds, prorated reimbursements, or credits will be issued for unused portions of a monthly or annual subscription, except where required by applicable law.
Cancel through the authorized billing controls when available. If those controls are unavailable or you need help, contact hello@kentori.net. Cancellation is confirmed against the payment provider’s subscription state; retain the confirmation and paid-through date. Merely signing out or no longer using the service does not cancel a subscription.
Cancellation itself does not delete saved projects. After the paid period ends, paid functionality and access to saved work are restricted under the applicable entitlement policy. Retention and deletion requests are described in the Privacy Policy.
Purchased Blueprint credits do not expire. They belong to the purchasing company and are separate from subscription AI allowances. Using a credit still requires authorized account and workspace access. Credit-pack refund terms require their own disclosure and are not determined by this subscription nonrefund policy. Contact support about billing errors or legally required refunds. Nothing here removes nonwaivable consumer rights or payment-network dispute rights.
6. Your photographs, customer data and designs
You retain ownership of the content you own and upload or create, including property photographs, designs, notes, and business documents. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and lawful authority to collect, upload, process, and share customer and property information.
You grant Kentori LLC a limited permission to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit that content to operate the features you request, including authorized AI generation, sharing, exports, and preservation of accepted or completed business evidence. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Check recipients and permissions before sending proposals or sharing files. A recipient with an authorized share link may be able to review its contents. Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information. Data practices and provider processing are described in the Privacy Policy.
7. AI previews and architectural Blueprints
AI previews and Blueprints are illustrative aids, not architectural drawings, engineering certifications, installation guarantees, or surveys. AI can misinterpret materials, trim, building edges, vegetation, proportions, or alignment. Review every result against the original photograph and authoritative saved design before accepting it, sharing it with a customer, or issuing crew instructions.
The saved deterministic design remains the placement and materials reference. AI enhancement does not authorize moving fixtures or changing the installation scope. Use the original-photo fallback or alignment review if a Blueprint does not match. Do not rely on an attractive image as proof that a design is accurate, code-compliant, or buildable.
Usage allowances and purchased Blueprint credits are separate. A Blueprint credit is consumed when a valid generated candidate is saved, before optional acceptance; disliking or rejecting that result does not automatically restore a credit. Reopening or realigning an existing result does not itself generate a new image.
8. Measurements and installation safety
Photo measurements are estimates based on the reference dimensions and image geometry you supply. Fit each calibration box to the exact known feature and select the appropriate reference for each run. Different depths, camera perspective, obstructions, and roof pitch can affect accuracy. A two-dimensional photo or overhead measurement is not a verified three-dimensional roofline length.
Verify dimensions, quantities, product compatibility, electrical loads, mounting methods, site conditions, and scope in the field. Planned materials and expected footage remain distinct from actual usage. Contractors are responsible for qualified personnel, permits, applicable codes, safe electrical work, ladders and fall protection, product instructions, and customer approvals. The software is not a substitute for professional judgment or a site inspection.
9. Access restrictions and termination
We may restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security risks, unlawful activity, nonpayment, or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent protective action may occur first. Subscription cancellation, account deletion, and security suspension are different actions.
Ending access does not automatically erase accepted contracts, signatures, payment records, completed work, or evidence that must be retained for legitimate business or legal purposes. Contact support about account closure and permitted access or retrieval options. Termination does not waive obligations already incurred or rights that apply by law.
10. Software and intellectual property
Kentori LLC and its licensors retain their rights in the software, brand, interface, and service materials. Your authorized access does not transfer those rights. Do not copy or distribute the software, remove rights notices, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits. Your own content and third-party product rights remain with their respective owners.
11. Availability, warranties and liability
The service may be interrupted by maintenance, network failures, provider outages, or other events. Features may depend on third-party services and account eligibility. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free output, a particular commercial result, or suitability of a design for a specific installation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and illustrative outputs are provided as available, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. To that same extent, Kentori LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, or losses caused by reliance on unverified measurements or AI outputs.
These limitations do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections. They do not excuse our own obligations under applicable law. Maintain independent copies of records you need for your business and verify installation instructions before use.
12. Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. The updated date appears above. Material changes affecting an existing subscription will be communicated as required, and changes will not retroactively rewrite accepted customer agreements. For questions, complaints, billing assistance, or privacy requests, contact Kentori LLC at hello@kentori.net.
